Classis Soccer Ads: Gatorade and the USMNT

This was one of my two* favorite WC commercials. I definitely felt the warm fuzzies, proud of our boys for all their hard work and competing at a time when very few people in the world look kindly upon us...

(*Can't find the other one, alas!, but it was about funny stereotypes -- Germans running up the field in perfect rows, one of the teams practicing dives, etc.)

I remember seeing that one and thinking, "they're still screwed. Thanks FIFA World Cup Group Draw!" I guess we just need to hold our chins up and remember that at least we didn't lose to the eventual champions.
