Taking a cue from the multiple ball trick in Ecuador, the field at Macclesfield is littered with balls thrown onto the pitch. Club officials believe those meddling kids in the neighborhood were responsible for the prank, but we all know that it was really the work of Macclesfield’s ghosts. The game ended in a 0-0 draw, but Macclesfield boss Paul Ince was happy to pick up some new equipment for his League Two club saying: “They will come in handy. We’ve only got about eight for practice sessions.”
