It's difficult not to feel for Fiorentina, who did play really well over both legs, but at 1-0 and again at 3-1 they would have gone through regardless of Klose's offside goal in Munich, so I don't think they can lay this all at the feet of the first leg officials.

I was also surprised at how awful Bayern were right up until their fight back started.

The "beauty" here is that even chris managed to make it through an entire post without trashing Arsenal or French players. Unprecedented!

Al, it seems your wish has been granted:

"Bayern Players Commit Suicide

FLORENCE, Bayern reached the Quarter Finals of the Champions League amidst major controversy and despite being outplayed, outclassed, outwitted, outperformed and thoroughly beaten by a brave, heroic and sensational Fiorentina side. Fiorentina was ultimately undone by two referees, who were assigned by UEFA to manipulate the tie in Bayern's favor and subsequently made horrendous mistakes, all of which went against Fiorentina.

It has long been UEFA's goal to undermine Italy's otherwise unquestionable dominance of the European game. The Bayern - Fiorentina tie was just the latest in a long series of controversial games, that saw Italian teams get eliminated from European competitions due to controversial refereeing decisions, while teams from other leagues never have to worry about losing against an Italian team due to refereeing mistakes. Tuesday's match now turned this long standing suspicion into the bitter reality of a UEFA conspiracy aimed at first robbing Italian football of its' number one status and now even its' fourth Champions League spot.

Sure to surprise the suits at Bayern's top, who are all involved in the plans of the well known Germanophile Platini, Bayern's players decided to take stand against this injustice. In support of Fiorentina they all committed suicide. Police confirmed that an overdose of Sunday's Serie A match between Inter and Genoa as cause of the death.

There is no beauty that FIFA brought on ANOTHER fixed ref. who failed to give ANOTHER red card and pretended not to notice an obvious handball in the box. Fiorentina played beautifully, everyone on BM would commit suicide had they any dignity. I will admit the strike from Robben was amazing- completed the robbery, how ironic. Ribery is perhaps the worst- interesting how every club he's on is in with the fix.
