A Good Day at the Office for Dimitar Berbatov

Berbatov scored four times for Tottenham yesterday, twice hauling his team level with Reading in an outrageous game Spurs eventually won 6-4. Not too shabby. (Full match highlights are here, if you want more than just Bulgarian goals.)

    Of course, people are going to see this game and say that Mikto is back. (and of course the subsequent berbatov to United/Chelsea/Real Madrid/S-Pulse/Red Bulls/Whitecaps b.s. will take up most of the papers again). But if you don’t follow Spurs, Berbatov has been back in form for a long time. He had spent most of that time setting up chances rather than taking them. But he’s been the same Berbatov for over a months now. The goals help though :)

    Now if only Spurs had a quality goalkeepers and a decent back line, they could challenge the top 4…
