I'm not sure about this story - I haven't heard just how significant the rise in betting was. Anyway, I would have thought that Honda were the favorites, meaning the payoff for their win couldn't have been that great, unless it was some sort of pool system. Yeah, the Intertoto has been a mess this season. Only one more day, then it's the UEFA Cup's problem.
