Amr Zaki’s Off The Ball Movement Leaves Much To Be Desired – And A Trail Of Blood.
By: chris | June 1st, 2009Betcha didn’t think the highlight of the weekend would be from Egypt’s friendly with….checking….checking….Oman.
Amr Zaki, the new/old Mido, hasn’t made himself very welcome at Wigan as of late. In fact he was famously called by Steve Bruce the most “unprofessional” athlete he’s ever worked with – no small charge. And now he might not be welcome with the Egyptian nat’l team, what with his inability to foster proper chemistry in mere goal celebrations, much less actual pitch play. You’ve got to anticipate your teammate’s run, Amr. Anticipate.
(Alright, technically it was the other guy’s lateness, but blaming Zaki seems to be the thing to do these days.)

this incident just makes it perfect for zaki….things have been going terrible with him lately and you can see it in his reaction will heading out of the field.

It’s amazing how quickly he managed to blow away all the goodwill generated after his great start.
