I caught parts of the mexico friendly and I have to say it almost looked like proper football there for a few minutes.
Players getting experience in higher level leagues can only be a good thing.

I was going to mention the National Team aspect, but the post was already too long as it was. I'm seeing a difference in play (in a good way) in the NT even over the last year, and I think a lot of that is due to the European-based plaeyrs. I think we'll see even more when we get more players from other leagues coming to MLS. The mixing of styles keeps players sharp and ready for anything.

More US players playing regularly in Europe can only be a good thing. For the players themselves - money, professionalism, experience - and for the national team. if some talented players leave the MLS, that leaves room for younger players to come through and show their stuff. And if kids in the US see the MLS and soccer as an avenue to playing in Europe then more may stay in the game instead of leaving for sports with a more defined path to professionalism (and money).
