I strongly disagree. All this demonstrates is that it takes them 40 odd passes to break down a mediocre opposition. And need a deflected shot to score. I’ll take Man United’s more direct, less boring and just as flamboyant approach any day – would you rather score with 5 passes or 35? Well 5, then you can score more goals…

I agree that Barcelona are probably the greatest team right now, but anyone can string 37 passes together when you’re pretty much just playing it in your own half without the opposition pressuring you. Just look at who had the most passes. Three defenders!

35 or 37, FCB has a style that no one else can match. I understand how Man Utd claim to be the best team in the world but Man Utd cant ever match what FCB does week in and out.
