‘Biting his Unit’ is certainly a different way to celebrate

Ahhhh, the sleepy days of summer when all we can do is rest up and look forward to the upcoming season when another player may or may not chose to celebrate a goal by biting his teammate’s genitalia. In case you don’t remember, or in the event that you have special brain cells that automatically erase all memories of unit biting, the video above is from a number of years ago and it shows Sevilla’s Francisco Gallardo giving a love peck to Jose Antonio Reyes.

  Laurie, did your comments have anything to do with Reyes’ astonishing cheekbones, and your surprise that his teammates don’t celebrate his goals this way more often? No? Mine either.

  Martha, you might enjoy this photo also. It doesn’t involve unit-biting OR show the cheekbones, but there does seem to be a certain bit of checking-the-closeness-of-the-shave going on here.
