Bossaball: Soccer Volleyball on Trampolines

By: Bob | March 26th, 2007

As far as alternative soccer sports go Bossaball looks much more fun than playing with fire or on motorcycles. Combining the skills of capoeira, samba, breakdance, football, volleyball, acrobatics and circus on those really cool inflatable playgrounds you have at your 5th birthday party, the sport is gaining popularity on the beaches of Brazil. Played with teams of 3,4, or 5 players, a critical element of Bossaball is the Samba Referees. Just be forewarned that you can be given a penalty if you disagree with his choice of music.

Thanks to blog reader Ronald for introducing us to Bossaball.
