Brazilian TV’s Great WAG-Off

By: chris | November 10th, 2008

So this is what it all comes down to. Forget the ball, the players, the meaningless games, Brazil has taken it to the level we’ve all been waiting for: Which team has the hottest fan? (Using the term “fan” loosely. Lots of ladies can be found kissing the badge of their respective teams, but not unlike the players, it’s probably more about What can this badge do for me? rather than What can I do for this badge?.) December 6th, in the final of the Musa do Brasileiro, we shall found out.

The competition became the calling for thousands of women who wanted to make a quick buck while wearing very little clothing, and just recently they got it down to a manageable 22 – one to represent each team in the Brazilian top flight. There was a TV contest which mostly involved excruciatingly difficult competitions like prancing around in very little clothing and answering some silly questions before prancing around in very little clothing again. Basic WAG stuff, you know? The judges will decide on the winner and it’ll be announced a little under a month from now. Bated breath and all that.

So there it is. December 6th we can lay this football stuff to rest and find out which of the lucky 22 ladies below will be crowned Queen WAG or whatever. And if you’re the type of guy/gal who is quite thorough and needs a solid base of knowledge to stand upon going into a competition, Globeoesporte’s website has a ridiculous amount of pictures, videos and vital stats of the contestants.

Flamengo should win "hands-down", or "cheeks-up", or "hands-down-on-the-cheeks-up"!
  • Miss Internacional is the best. Seriously, I'm thinking of moving to Brazil...

I hate pointing out problems with girls, especially when it's problems they can't fix; but I think 'Santos' is looking at me cockeyed.

ahhh the stereotypes...they think this and next thing you know, you'll get mugged by a "favelado" in one the of the most dangerous contries in the world (Brasil). They even mugged Pele and kidnapped Robinho's mother, and they do something called a "microwave" where they put a journalist's body into several burned tires stacked up.

Whats weird is that what i just wrote is true...

Brasilian football is the best. And this is not on TV. just something created by the Globo Esporte site online like a year ago. As a brasilian, i dont really find them attractive. To tell you the truth, i'd prefer the ones in Egypt, now there beautiful. sounds odd now, but go and see yourself.
