British Fans help pick the MLS Nicknames of the Future

By: Bob | August 15th, 2007

I was reluctant to check out the British channel five television program David Beckham’s Soccer USA because frankly I get more than enough of David Beckham in my daily Web life. Fortunately I sucked it up and gave it a try and lo and behold I actually enjoyed it thanks in no small part to the fact that Beckham spends even less time on the show than he does playing for the LA Galaxy. The above clip gives you a taste of what it is all about. If you can make your way through some of the bits that fall flat in the beginning the part about helping to name the future MLS teams (about 4:30 in) has its moments. Kind of ironic that one of the more mambonifico shows about MLS is being produced in the UK.
