Catania Players Drop Shorts, Score Goal Through Indecent Exposure.
By: The Offside | November 17th, 2008
I’ll let Yahoo explain this one:
Catania’s forward Gianvito Plasmati, right, is seen with his shorts down as his teammate Giuseppe Mascara, left, scores on a free kick during the Italian Serie A first division soccer match between Catania and Torino, in Catania, southern Italy, Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008. Three Catania players dropped their shorts down near their knees so Torino goalkeeper Matteo Sereni couldn’t see Mascara’s kick. Catania carried out the maneuver to perfection when Giuseppe Mascara scored in Sunday’s 3-2 win over Torino.
Video after the jump.
Something tells me mooning goalkeepers to distract them from a free kick isn’t exactly showing a great deal of sportsmanship, but it’s brilliant nonetheless. Brilliance which will probably be a one-time thing because the next time someone drops trou in front of a keeper, it’ll probably result in a yellow card. I mean, if taking your shirt off commands a yellow, your shorts should at least be 1.5 and a written apology to the keeper for being an unwilling subject to another man’s ass/upper leg area.
