I must say, though, those were two UGLY ass ManU goals, partially redeemed by Rooney’s second.

Milan can do it in the San Siro.

I watched the game winning goal by Rooney on ESPN Classic, and I jumped out of my couch in sheer amazement. I’m not even a Man U fan. But the announcer did not seem enthused…at all. This is why I watched the World Cup on Spanish TV; listening to the commentary is much more exciting, even if you can’t understand it. If Pablo Ramirez was covering the game for Univision, he would have reacted to the Rooney goal like this:

Pablo Ramirez: “Rooney con el SERVICIOOOO…GOL! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! DE WAYNE ROOONIIIIII! GOLAZO! GOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! GOLAAZAZAZOOOO! EL Gran Golazo De Rooney, El Estadio acaba de explotar, y Manchester United va a ganar este encuentro, tres a dooos. Y la defensa de Milan no pudio hacer nada de parar el gol, Jose Luis Chilavert.”

I feel like that player who scored the goal with his nuts. Horrible ending. At least there is a second leg and those two away goals could be the difference. Fingers crossed….
