Coach Suspended for Mooning Girls’ Youth Team
By: Bob | October 29th, 2007
It is a neck-and-neck race between soccer parents and youth soccer coaches in the never-ending race to the bottom of society. Today, youth soccer coaches everywhere can be proud of one of their brethren for helping to make the case that the overbearing people who coach young kids are brain cell-for-brain cell just as ridiculous as the overbearing people who create the kids.
A coach of a team of female players featuring girls under the age of 16 has been suspended for dropping his trousers and exposing his buttocks during a soccer match. What the cool kids like to call “mooning”.
From Fox Reno:
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department said the incident was reported at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday after a Windsor Cup Soccer game had been played by female players under the age of 16.
Deputies learned that the game had become heated and erupted into several arguments, after which the Petaluma team’s coach walked to the center of the field and allegedly exposed his rear to the opposing team, according to the sheriff’s office.
Several of the Windsor team players and their parents called police and reported the incident. However, the coach has denied the allegations, according to the sheriff’s department.
Good thing the police were brought into the situation. It is not like high school girls have ever seen anyone’s moon before. Freshmen boys never do that. Nah.

Didn’t they see the funny side ? (arf)
I bet the poor bloke will be jailed, prosecuted, sentenced (and in the meantime lose his job) before finally put on the sex offenders register.
People - you need to get a sense of humo(u)r.

It’s one thing to find humor in high school kids committing immature rude acts, but for an adult, especially one who is in the position to be a leader and role model for our kids, it’s unacceptable. This is not humor. It’s sad, very sadsyl. It’s just one more example of grown-ups ruining kid sports.
