Wednesday night is the final act of the 2006/2007 Copa Libertadores and if you are one of the lucky few you might even be able to watch it. What you will see is a Boca Juniors team that enters the contest with a commanding 3-0 but must travel to a very hostile environment to take on Gremio. Does the Brazilian team have a shot of coming back? Magic 8 Ball sez: slim at best. Knowledgeable Brazil Offside writer sez: slim at best. Knowledgeable Guardian writer sez: slim at best. The Offside Bob sez: Boca Juniors will almost certainly lift its record 17th international cup, but the game will still be fun to watch, if you can.

Bah. I won’t be able to watch, which is not pleasurable.

On another note…man that field barrier in that picture makes me nervous. Are those designed to give way? I Hope?
