Cristiano Ronaldo is the New Beatles?

No more Cristiano Ronaldo unveiling videos after this one, promise. But I wanted to share this bit of craziness (spotted on Off the Post) because I couldn’t quite believe the way some fans reacted to CR9.

Of the 80,000 or so Madrid/CR9 fans at the Bernabeu, a handful went absoultely batshit crazy and tried to mob Madrid’s new signing. Apparently Ronaldo has the same effect on Madrid fans that The Beatles had on teenage girls:

haha, i like how, near the end of that video (at 30 seconds), one of the fans gets caught by the police officers and he's like "hey i'm just trying to pick up my sandal"
