This is one of the few times that I’ve seen Cristiano off his game. His timing was off and he was obviously protecting his face. It was a mistake that I don’t think we’ll see happen ever again.

It cuts it off in this video, but I believe the Rio “high-five” was actually him slapping away Slave’s hand in frustration. If you watched the match, he then pretty clearly tells #7 to shut up… so, I think Rio was actually performing as a captain should…

I think he was trying to protect his face and just had a brain fart.
I did a similar thing a few years back, simply caught the ball out of the air for no reason. Got a yellow two minutes into the game, played like the crap the last 88
