Croatia’s Euro 2008 Anthem, by Slaven Bilić’s Band Rawbau
By: Daryl | May 12th, 2008Croatia’s coach Slaven Bilić quite literally rocks. This is the video for “Vatreno ludilo”, the fan anthem Bilić and his band Rawbau have written and recorded for Croatia’s Euro 2008 run. That’s Bilić on guitar, with the shades.

Not to be outdone, Poland now has an anthem too. Though unfortunately it’s not written by Leo Beenhakker.
It’s damn near impossible to judge the merits of a music in a foreign language. So I’m not going to try.
All I can say for sure is that the music video “Fiery Madness” by Rawbau is superior to “Diamond Lights” as performed (read: mimed) by Glenn Hoddle and Chris Waddle on Top of the Pops in 1987…

What’s funniest about this to me is that I listened to the clip before I read the lyrics, and I thought it sounded like “Arrrrr-senal!”
