Cruzeiro Keeper Fabio gives up a Bizarre goal

Our man Bruno on the Brazil Offside did a post about this a couple of days ago and I was reminded of it when I read that the blundering keeper in the above video not only has to live with seeing replays of the ridiculous goal, but he also is out with an injury. I remember when I played youth soccer one of the few useful things the referee always did before a restart was to ask if both keepers were ready so that something like this wouldn’t happen. Half the time our keeper would be chasing after butterflies or over on the sideline eating oranges. No wonder my team lost every game for a year and a half straight. True story. Check the record books. My U-6 team was one of the worst in modern football history. I loved every second of it.
