Sounds like a lot of people here Stateside regarding the Yankee’s George Steinbrenner, but George is a weenie compared to our Russian bottomless pocket.
This is exactly why the owners of US football took a big gulp and instituted a salary cap. It has made for a wide open league, with often exciting play. Smaller city teams can actually compete with the big boys. The Prem needs to do the same, or it may find that attendance numbers, tv ratings, and tie-in sales start to go down.
