Not surprised Dempsey wants to leave, average Premiership players are making $80,000 in about three weeks, he’s getting that for the year.

I’m less surprised by the fact that Dempsey wants to leave than I am about how bitter he is. Those comments he’s throwing around (see the Globe piece) could see him toiling in the A-League if things don’t pan out overseas. Yeah, I know it’s an unlikely scenario, but, still….
