David Beckham Duped by Entourage Faker

By: Daryl | October 2nd, 2008

David Beckham has been in Los Angeles now since July 2007, but – if recent rumours are to be believed – he’s still having some trouble identifying who’s famous and who’s just faking it.

And we’re not just talking about his Galaxy teammates.

Apparently Becks was at Jermain Dupri’s birthday bash in Chicago, when he met an opportunistic scoundrel who passed himself off as Rex Lee (better known as Lloyd from Entourage, pictured) and convinced Goldenballs to get him into the VIP area.

Someone with a gossipy tongue told the New York Daily News: “It wasn’t the real Rex Lee and Becks brought him into the VIP area and spent the whole night drinking with him.”

With Galaxy’s playoff hopes once again fading (the team were in Chicago to lose to the Fire) and Theo Walcott England’s new right winger of choice, you’ve got to have some sympathy for old Goldenballs.

We can only hope that the Rex Lee impersonator was at least a little more convincing than the fake Nic Cage that conned Real Madrid last season.
