David Beckham on Sesame Street

By: Daryl | September 23rd, 2008

David Beckham might be a superstar, and he might have inadvertently started the whole WAG thing (sort of). But he’s not your typical superstar, because he’s prepared to do things that other high profile footballers probably wouldn’t do. Like go on Sesame Street. Can you imagine Cristiano Ronaldo on Sesame Street? Me neither.

Only sad thing is that when he defines persistent for the kids: “persistent means not to give up, even when things don’t go the way you want them to”, it sounds like he’s talking about his LA Galaxy career.

I think its cool for beckham to do that since he is a very big icon for many young children…let’s just hope it all goes well and that it won’t sound like he’s talking about his career at the la galaxy

Awww! DB on one of my favorite shows! Y’know, for all his superstar status, Beckham seems to maintain an admirable devotion to children. Really cute.

They actually asked Cristiano Ronaldo onto Sesame Street, but it all went sour when he tried to pay Snuffleupagus for a nose job.

Beckham agreed to do the clip if and only if Theo Walcott/David Bentley would never see it. He can’t afford to lose his place in the English side too…

Of course I could see Cristiano Ronaldo on Sesame street. I could also see him crying when a toddler takes his cookies.
