Deaf Boxer Stalks Guti

Daryl told me to google four words: Guti, stalker, deaf & boxer. I thought this was a joke, random test, something. Lo and behold, Guti was actually stalked by a deaf boxer. Who knew?

Seems Mr. Guti formed something of a relationship with Jorge Munoz, a hearing impaired prizefight who enlisted his new pal to help his campaign for a boxing license. The campaign didn’t go so well, Munoz was denied his right to fight, and for some reason he’s decided to take it out on his football playing buddy, stalking him and forcing his family to hire bodyguards. It all came to a head this week when Munoz caused a car crash while stalking his favorite Real Madrid midfielder.

According to the Associated Press, Munoz followed Guti in his car and trailed the midfielder to Madrid’s Ciudad training facility in Valdebebas near Barajas airport.

Having pursued Guti into the car park, Munoz was then involved in a collision with a car driven by security staff before trading punches with the guards. Marca reports that Munoz was eventually restrained and arrested while one of the security guards required hospital treatment.

(Little tip: don’t “trade punches” with a boxer, deaf or not. It’s not likely to be an even exchange.)

And now we can add this to the list of strange situations Guti gets into with other men. There was the infamous tranny surprise with a well-known (though not to him) Spanish actor/actress and the kiss with a man who turned out not to be a man but his own sister (oof).

Maybe he should consider retiring to a Tibetan monastery once he’s done at the Bernabeu. Strange situations can’t possibly follow him there, can they?
