Desperate for Beckham’s Coming Out Party

So another weekend has passed with nary a kick from David Beckham. When will America’s soccer savior finally save us all from whatever we are supposed to be saved from? We are desperate to know when his coming out party will finally take place. Will it occur on Thursday when the LA Galaxy take on DC United or will we have to wait until the next season of Desperate Housewives when he plays Robbie Williams’ gay boyfriend?
In a story that you know isn’t true but kind of secretly wish was, reports out of Hollywood say Beckham is indeed interested in supplementing his $250 million income by playing the gay boyfriend of a former boy band singer on a television show that features women who are less attractive than Beckham himself.
That sounds more fun than, you know, actually playing a game. Let’s hope his ankle heals in time for filming.
