And if you really buy in to all that defensive football = anti-football = boring, well, we're just not of the same opinion. Defensive football (and I shouldn't even have to point this out) is only effective when paired with fast break counter attacks that are generally thrilling to watch. I will flat out argue with anyone who tries to tell me that the second half of Madrid's season last year was boring to watch.
