I have mixed feelings on this one. I agree that FIFA and the FA working out some longer term agreement on hard tackles is a good thing, but I would have liked to see a few extra games added to Taylor’s sentence. Oh well. I agree that its better to look at the whole problem than just brand a scarlet letter onto Martin Taylor. Those tackles happen a lot in England, and they should all be punished evenly.

Martin Taylor has served his ban and he played for Birmingham Reserves tonight and is now available for first team selection!!!
