Enjoy the game and bring back souvenirs for your cellmates

bomb.jpgShunsuke Nakamura is listed as doubtful for Celtic’s Champions League clash with AC Milan on Wednesday. One guy who is not doubtful is Liam Lyness. The 23-year-old from Northern Ireland has tickets to the game in Glasgow and nothing is going to stop him from attending. Not even the fact that he faces a trial after being accused of possessing three bombs.

Lyness was scheduled to report to the police on Wednesday, but there are more important things in life, like a Champions League game, so he’ll have a couple more days of freedom.

Belfast Crown Court suspended a condition that Mr Lyness has to report to police on a Wednesday.

This will allow him to travel to Glasgow to see Celtic play AC Milan.

Judge Des Marrinan said that although he was relaxing the reporting condition for one day, Mr Lyness must report to police as usual this coming Friday.

Let this be a lesson for all of you with criminal intentions. If you are going to commit a crime, make sure you have your Champions League tickets purchased in advance. You’ll also want to keep track of the Champions League fixtures while in prison.
