The Guardian’s ode to art is continuing, this with some illustrated drawings of the sport’s mustachioed men – a couple of months too late, mind – from Andy Hemming. It’s arguably a look back to the golden age of facial hair, the 70’s, with an emphasis on the English and German love of whiskers. Sadly, it’s been awhile since football’s had a great mustache.
