Football’s Most Valuable Young Talents In 2012
By: The Offside | March 22nd, 2012
The Portuguese internet portal Futebol Finance released their interpretation, meticulously constructed in method of course, of the game’s most valuable young talents – the 21 & under variety. It’s unlikely to serve as a cheat sheet for anyone’s current FM game, considering all the names are known and will cost a sheikh or two already.
Neymar, Goetze, Balotelli, etc. etc. etc. Basically the shopping list of Manchester City and the two ladies in Spain – particular the Spaniards, as El Clasico fields a combined one name on this list – plus a few more clubs from time to time.
The club names are as impressive as the talents, but that’s of no surprise as scouting begins in the embryonic stage these days. Of course, it’s also a reflection of their respective transfer values, a big reason England is making such a strong showing.
(Xherdan Shaqiri’s already been snapped up by his conquerors – looting for spoils of war indeed – Bayern Munich.)
(Minimum and maximum values given.)

The remaining 15 can be found at the page, where you can also wonder why Bologna doesn’t transition to the far more excellent ‘Bolonha’ permanently.
