Here’s a lesson that could be taught: it’s not about owning a piece of cloth worn by a player, but a love of watching and playing the game that matters. Instead of fighting over the jersey, those boys should be outside playing soccer, trying to “bend it like Beckham”, and eagerly anticipating the next time they get to see one of the greats play this beautiful game. The jersey is just a jersey, a used one at that.

OR… Lalas could just get Becks to sign another jersey and send it to the kid. The real question is, does Lalas have 300 wives and 700 concubines?
