Frank Lampard Gave Jose Mourinho “A Bitter Taste in the Mouth”

Hell hath no fury like a manager scorned.

Jose Mourinho (formerly at Chelsea, currently at Inter, for those who’ve been asleep for the last year) just gave an interview in the Gazzetta dello Sport where he expresses great disappointment that Frank Lampard re-signed with Chelsea. Does anybody else think this sounds more like jilted lover than jilted manager?

‘Frank is in my heart for everything we have done together. But I’m left with a bitter taste in the mouth. He said to me ‘I will go with you to Inter, if it’s not possible now, then in a year we will be together’. Afterwards he changed his mind.

He said to me ‘I will go with you to Inter, if it’s not possible now, then in a year we will be together’.

Poor Jose. I had a boyfriend like that once too. Took me ages to get over it.

Forget him, sweetie. Zlatan and Quaresma are your boys now. I know it’s difficult to get beyond that bitter taste, but Frank has moved on, and it’s time for you to do the same.
