Frankie Hejduk: Man of the People & Questionable Hygiene Practices
By: chris | September 20th, 2008It’s always nice to see a professional athlete embrace the people who cheer him on and, in some way, help pay his salary, as is the case with Frankie Hejduk here. Frank takes the beer from a fan in the crowd and consumes his beverage to the cheers and adoration of those around him. So that’s nice. But does he know where that beer has been? I wouldn’t take anything handed to me out of a stadium, much less a beverage which has kissed God knows who.
Even better though is the commentary at the end overheard in the crowd:
Woman 1: “Hey, are you guys getting married on Saturday?”
Woman 2: “Maybe, maybe not.”
Sounds like quite the future for the lucky couple.
