Fuddy Muckers Capture Swamp Soccer Championship
By: Bob | June 18th, 2007
The championship in Spain was not the only major soccer event this past weekend. The 2007 Swap Soccer championship was held in Dunoon, Scotland on Saturday and Sunday with more than 500 players from places as far away as Australia and New Zealand showing up to take part in the six-a-side competition. In the end, it was the Fuddy Muckers who lifted the trophy after they defeated the Dunoon Celtic Supporters Club 4-1 on penalties. Yet another world championship decided on penalties. Surely it is time to re-exam the rules of the sport!
