Gazza causes actual bodily harm
By: Bob | November 8th, 2006
Normally when you come across a headline involving Paul Gascoigne and bodily harm you’d think it would be about the harm he is causing to his own body through his self-destructive, hard-living ways. This time it involves another person, but sadly it is the same old story for Gazza. The former England great was arrested at 4:15am following a nightclub altercation in London. He was charged with “actual bodily harm,” which I think in non-legal terms means he beat the snot out of someone. The someone in this case was a 43-year-old who didn’t require medical attention following the pummeling. Hopefully he at least got an autograph in between boots to the head.
Gazza actually looks in good spirits in that picture coming out of the police station, like it was all just a fun night out on the town. Even though his story continues to be a sad one, I’ll always remember when he was on top of his game and for incidents like the one in the video below.
