Getting naked is one way to support anti-sectarianism in Scotland

As we saw this past weekend, the terraces in Scotland can still be a rather uncouth place. Nevertheless, progress has been made over the years and a photographer in Glasgow wants us all to appreciate that by exposing us to Rangers and Celtic fans exposing themselves.
As part of an anti-sectarianism campaign, Alistair Devine has put the call out for volunteers to participate in the Stripped Naked project, which will show nude Rangers and Celtic supporters frolicking together on the pitch. The hundreds of fans, both male and female, will only be covered by their club’s scarves.
Mr Devine said: “Following on from the iconic image I captured in 1980 which highlighted all that is bad about the game and portrayed Scotland in a negative light, I am now going to capture what will be an iconic image of serious relevance to where Scotland as a country and a footballing nation is today.”
Getting people to take off their clothes for you and calling it an “iconic image of serious relevance” sure is clever. I hear that is how Cristiano Ronaldo described his fun too.
