Getting to the Truth about David Beckham and Botox

By: Bob | May 7th, 2007

botox.jpgFresh on the heels of dispelling the Beckham penis rumors (how did we dispel them again?), we jump into the fray once again to pass our ruling on the pressing issue of the day: has David Beckham had Botox? What, you haven’t heard about this yet? The BBC isn’t covering it? It isn’t on Soccernet? CNN doesn’t have a fancy graphic and around the clock coverage? Of course the LA Galaxy Offside is all over it, but that won’t stop us from digging a little deeper into this life altering controversy.

Those who keep a close eye on Beckham, and really that includes you and I as pathetic as we might be, have noticed that like his hair, his face has changed over the years. Can we attribute the smoothness to skin cream or is there something more sinister involved? We defer to the experts:

Top plastic surgeon, Alex Karidis, who studied a few pictures of Beckham, said that a large line that was visible on the footballer’s forehead has vanished.

Karidis added that that the 32-year-old has all the characteristics of a botoxed forehead, and that Beckham also seems to have had a botox injected on his eyebrows.

“He used to have a large line across his forehead which seems to have vanished. He has all the hallmarks of a botox forehead. He also appears to have had a lift on his eyebrows, that can often happen when botox is injected into that area,” he said.

Being the investigative journalists that we are, we’ve dug up before and after pictures of the golden mug so that you can decide for yourself.

There you have it. Botox it like Beckham. And if anyone is wondering there is no Botox question regarding Posh.
