That’s Pope Benedict XVI receiving a jersey that will look great underneath the papal robes. He’ll probably also receive a letter from FIFA informing him that Roman Numerals have not been approved by the world’s governing body. Even the Pope must bow down to Sepp Blatter’s demands. Before you get your hopes up and start thinking that the Vatican soccer team rumors might be true after all, this picture was merely taken at the Pope’s weekly general audience at the Vatican where undoubtedly he talked a bit about unexplained miracles.
