

He’s Pretty Handy Leading a Coup, but how is his Left Foot?

General Sondhi Boonyaratkalin, Thai army commander and head of the military council that seized power through a coup last month, takes time out from running the country to play football against journalists in Bangkok today. It is always good to see coup leaders with their priorities straight. Football first, everything else second. No word if Boonyaratkalin’s play impressed the scouts in the stands or if the man who formerly held his job plans to offer him a contract with Liverpoool.
