I wonder if Beckham has seen his wages fall as a result of the plunging value of the US dollar? His deal might be worth 30% less then it was when he signed it if he agreed to it. Meanwhile, the Yanks playing in Europe getting paid in Euros are laughing louder than ever at MLS salaries (save Goldenballs).

I think it says they used the 2007 average, which was considerably better for Europeans than current exchange rates.
