Hooligans, You Might want to Leave your Fingerprints at Home

Technology is a grand thing. The same tools that are being used to nab those dreaded terrorist at international borders are now being used in the battle against an even greater threat: football hooligans. Officials at a match in Amsterdam today are testing biometric scanning devices that can scan the fingerprints of fans entering a stadium and determine the evildoers from the non evildoers. The equipment is being used at the home grounds of Ajax, Vitesse, and Feyenoord, a club that should have plenty of time to build its database of known hooligans now that they have been booted from the UEFA Cup for fan misbehavior.
