There are lots of ways we can go with this little gaffe from Martin Hansen during the Merseyside Reserves derby. We could say the thundering noise from the stands got to him. We could say the pressure of the Merseyside derby atmosphere made his knees weak. We could pose the theory that he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

But in the end, I think this deserves a Harry:

“No wonder he’s in the fucking reserves.”
