International Action is Thataway…

By: Daryl | March 26th, 2008

Regular Offside readers will already know about World Cup Blog, but newer converts may not be aware of our international footy focused sister site. So allow us to explain.

World Cup Blog is where it all began two years ago, with blogs for each of the 32 teams at World Cup 2006. We’ve now expanded the site to (eventually) include a blog for every national team in the world. So if you’ve come to The Offside today looking for coverage of all the international friendlies and qualifiers that are going on, please allow us to redirect you to World Cup Blog where you’ll hopefully find everything you’re looking for.

As well as all kinds of action on the team blogs, we have a rundown of all today’s fixtures, a discussion over which game holds the most interest and a guide to the top 10 players to keep an eye on today.

Anelka breaks behind the England defence and shows his pace – Ashley Cole nowhere to be seen.

David James gets his body in the way without touching the ball and Anelka flies through the air with the greatest of ease as was Ribery’s penalty.
