Introducing The Offside and World Cup Blog Forums
By: Daryl | August 27th, 2008
We’ re very pleased to announce [drumroll please....] the launch of Forums Offside.
We love (most of) the discussion that happen in The Offside and World Cup Blog community and think that a forum is an excellent and logical way to help that community grow further. So Forums Offside is exactly what it sounds like. All the usual WCB and Offsidey goodness, but in forum, er, form.
What’s a forum? It’s basically an open discussion format where any registered user can start a topic or join in a discussion.
To register, go to Forums Offside and click on the “Register” link in the upper right hand corner. You submit an email address, we send you a password, and then you’re in.
Once registered, just click on a forum you’re interested in (the Chelsea forum or the Azzurri forum for example) and then click on a topic to get involved. Or you can start a new topic by simply clicking the “new topic” button at the top left corner of each forum.
We’ve launched with a limited number of team forums to begin with (plus a transfer rumours forum, because it’s August) but can and will add more as we go, especially if there’s popular demand for certain teams.
This has just been launched (like, today) and is still being tested. So go forth and forum it up, and any problems or feedback please let us know in the comments below.
