IOSS: “Jose Going Nowhere”

By: Daryl | September 22nd, 2008

I’ve been a little worried about I’m on Setanta Sports recently, thinking maybe its moment had passed. I was also thinking that maybe it should have ended in its prime, like The Office or Fawlty Towers or Paul Scholes’ international career.

But last weeks Battle for Berba re-enactment (with TSO’s excellent Mr. Alex impression) suggested plenty of life in the old dog (or at least a new trick) and this week’s development with new Director of Programming Fabio Capello gives us plenty to look forward to.

I don’t know why but Wenger is becoming my favorite call-in character. “hello hello hello hellooooooooo”

The Director of Football thing is quite a clever parody of the West Ham/Newcastle thing. But it isn’t as funny as Wenger bickering with Jose, ultimately.
