James Bond Surveils Ballack-Löw Peace Summit

Though I suppose if it were actually James Bond, the pictures would look a lot less grainy. But still, one can’t help but look at these photos of the meeting – the one where Michael Ballack & Jogi Löw man hugged and made up before awkwardly shifting to tension breaking subjects like chicks and cars and beer – and think it wasn’t a really late addition to Quantum of Solace. Dark rooms, closed curtains, chauffeured Mercedes and a private jet set to whisk one party off into the night. Ballack even dressed for the occasion:
At 7.47pm, Ballack (in black jeans, black leather jacket and carrying a black shoulder bag) climbed back on board the jet and returned to London.
The pictures are actually courtesy of Bild, not James Bond. Unless Daniel Craig has taken to moonlighting as a photog for German tabloids…
