Jens Lehmann: King of the Howler

Some things never change. Though to be fair, the pass back could’ve been put in a slightly better spot. But still, I think we’ve all seen Jens stumble around the box once or twice in the past.

And the goal actually mattered, because it helped Bulgarians Varna build up a 2-0 lead in Germany (3-2 on aggregate) until Thomas Hitzlsperger tied matters in the 83rd and Mario Gomez sent them through in dramatic fashion three minutes into stoppage. Never a dull day with Jens in net.
