Jose Mourinho’s Ukrainian Spy
By: chris | September 1st, 2009European champions Barcelona had an extra special day yesterday. Not only did they kick off the La Liga season at the Camp Nou with a 3-0 win over Sporting Gijon, but they signed defensive superstud Dmytro Chygrynskiy from Shakhtar for a cool €25m to pair with Puyol for the hairiest defensive partnership ever.
Now Dmytro is unavailable for the Champions League this year, thus he won’t face Inter. But is there any good reason why he should be taking in his first game under Barcelona contract with Jose Mourinho, surely on a scouting mission? Perhaps Jose has a spy in the Barcelona camp, sneaky bastard that he is.
Actual highlights of a rather pedestrian victory to kick off Barca’s title defense, with goal from the €65m Swede:

I am so happy today because Dmytro is unavailable for the Champions League this year. And definitely he will change the whole game with his great talent.
