If the EPL gets new sponsers, I’d like it to be a P brand just for the alliteration. The Pepsi Premier League, sounds good.

Remember when they were trying to persuade everyone to refer to it as the BPL? That annoyed me at the time because it implied that Barclays involvement was permanent rather than just a paid for temporary association.

Its the most sensible thing Southgate has ever said. I remember when I was growing up in the early-mid 90s, Serie A was what I watched, as much as the Prem. Of course I kept up with the Prem cos of being in England, But i loved watching Serie A, then La Liga became really big for a bit in the early 00s, and now its become the Prem, it’ll change sure enough, its always gonna.
