I generally enjoy your bolg, but this one annoys me a little and makes me wonder about your depth of knowledge. 80K in Arrowhead makes for a great atmosphere. 11K (or even 25K) in Arrowhead makes the place feel like a mortuary. I would image the same would be true for Old Trafford which is the only comparable sized stadium in the EPL.

That's a minor point, a more interesting one is Community America ballpark which without knowing anything about it you just dismiss. The exicing think there will be that it'll be sold out everynight (we averaged 11K last year CAB will only hold around 10K). That will make for an incredible atmosphere.

And in case you missed it the Wizards were sold from the lackluster Hunt Sports group (same group that owns the NFL Chiefs who haven't won a playoff game since 92) to a local ownership group, OnGoal LLP. A group headed by a couple of guys worth roughly 1.5 billion. They have doubled the size of the marketing department as well as every other group in the franchise. So before you start throwing your hate KC barbs (which you've got every right to do, it just makes if more fun when we kick your a$$) at least try and get your facts right.

Tax increment financing seems a little shady, but it does actually work. We have done it it my home metro area to bring in certain organizations/buildings/stadiums. I'll be checking in to see how this pans out.
